I'd
like to first start off by saying that I love Sandra Brown. Her books
are my must haves. That being said, I've had a run of books where I
can't seem to connect with the characters. Bellamy and Dent were good
but there just wasn't that little extra that pushed it over the edge for
me.
I did enjoy the story. I just feel like there needed to be
more from the characters to help me connect with them. I feel like it
almost happened with Bellamy and although we learned a lot about Dent
and what made him turn out the way he was it wasn't exactly enough.
There
were a lot of twists and turns and to be honest, I wasn't really sure
who actually murdered Susan. That definitely, kept me on my toes. Which
what I want most from a book. I loved the story of this one.
